OK, the March 12 launch is a go so, what is everyone going to fly? I'm not sure if I can make it but if I can,
I'll burn a couple of G motors and some smaller stuff. :)

Hi, Andrew. I've been busy during the build season. A new Estes Partizon named "Beaker" to fly my first X-motors. It's been 'glassed and fitted with a 38mm. Mount, and dual altimeters since the experimental motors won't have ejection built in. Also an upscale Estes Corkscrew, 2.6" in diameter and a 38mm. motor mount. This one will be fun to watch because it spirals up leaving a twisted smoke trail behind. I might have a clone Super Big Bertha and PAC-3 Patriot ready for E and F motors by then, they're not done yet.

Nice! I like your idea for the upscale Estes corkscrew! What motor are you using for the corkscrew?

It's the first flight of a rocket deliberately designed for dynamic instability, so a small two grain H73-J to start. Probably will never see anything bigger than an I class. A rocket meant to wobble like this is likely to shred if you push it too hard. The effect is called roll pitch coupling, or more commonly, coning. This one is twice as big, but you get the idea.

I hate like heck to post this, but we are going to scrub the 3/12 launch. Mother Nature has not been kind to us, what with all the rain. The field will be a soggy mess. So, hopefully 3/26 will be much kinder to us.
