I am sad to report that the Tripoli Mid Ohio season is closed until November or so. The corn is on the move up; you can actually see a green haze in the fields as you drive (at 5 mph I might add) down the lane.
We could set up pads and launch, but this activity would damage the crops in the vicinity of the pads; traffic to and from the pads could not be hidden. The last words from the land owner were that we could fly there as long as we did not damage the crops. Damage would be inevitable and I do not want to have that conversation, no matter how much money we could throw at the issue post launch.
See ya in the fall. Until then: Stay safe, be cautious. Remember that there is no such thing as over-building; only under-powering.
